The Law Office of Cooch & Bowers, P.A. was created in 1988 when the original principals, Andrew Cooch and David A. Bowers opened their first office just outside of Annapolis, Maryland. One year later, they incorporated Progressive Title Corporation as an adjunct to their thriving law practice. Andrew Cooch was licensed to practice in the State of Maryland in 1981. In 1982 he was admitted to the Federal Bar for the District of Maryland. In 2005 Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr., appointed Mr. Cooch to the Maryland Affordable Housing Trust Board of Directors. He is also an active participant in the Maryland Land Title Association where he serves as the Executive Vice President on the Board of Directors. Mr. Cooch has taught an MLTA course entitled "Unique Titles." He also serves as the Maryland Private/Business Sector Co-Chair for the Capital Region Prep Chapter (Property Records Industry Association). The law firm is active in community affairs and Mr. Cooch serves on the Board of Directors of Bello Machre, Inc., Richcroft Inc., and the Salt Street Foundation.
