Use this tool to help calculate recording costs in each county. To change counties, click your county name at the top of the form. Just fill in the consideration amount for a sale and make sure your $40 recording fees per document are included. For a refinance, put in the loan amount plus the payoff amounts (remember to use the principal balance) and include your $40 recording fees.
